On this – almost – Sukkot, I’m reposting a post I wrote on Sep 2023, two years ago… A little lazy? and yet… when I came across it, I was surprised how relevant it was.
We marked then 50 years to the Yom Kippur War, not knowing what awaits us right around the corner… In many aspects, everything changed, and also,,, not everything.
Sukkot is back to challenge us with its mitzvah to “be joyful in the holiday”, and now, as we’re holding our breath, the same question is still with us: is it possible, even though and in spite of everything?
