| קצת עלי: חזרתי לארץ, המקום בו גדלתי ובו אני אוהבת להיות ולחיות אחרי שנים רבות (מאד!) בארה״ב. אני אוהבת ללמוד: את התואר הראשון עשיתי באוניברסיטת חיפה (לימודי א”י וחינוך – תוכניות לימודים). יש לי תואר שני בלימודי יהדות, תואר שני נוסף בפסיכולוגיה קלינית, ותואר שלישי בפסיכולוגיה ארגונית. בנוסף, אני בוגרת ישיבת מהר”ת, הישיבה הראשונה לנשים דתיות לרבנות. מאז שחזרתי לארץ, השלמתי לימודי תעודה בליווי רוחני וכמורת דרך בארץ תחת משרד התיירות. חוץ מ״מאמי״ ו״אמא״ ומי האמין, גם ״סבתוש״), התואר “רבנית” אהוב עלי, מעין סגירת מעגל למה שקראו לי כשהייתי בת 5-6, בבית הכנסת שאבי היה בין מייסדיו (די קליינע “רבעצען“, אמרו האנשים בחיוך…) | A little about me: I am back in Israel where I grew up, after many years in the US (very many) and where I love be and live I love learning: my BA is in Studies of Israel and Education (designing curriculum) from the University of Haifa. I have an MS in Jewish Studies (from Spertus, Chicago, IL), an MA in Clinical Psychology, and a PsyD in organizational psychology (both from the Professional School of Psychology in Sacramento CA). Last but not least, I am a (proud!) graduate of Yeshivat Maharat. Since being back in Israeli, I completed my chaplaincy certificate and am an official tour guide in Israel. Except for Mom/ Mommy/ Ima (and who would have imagined, “savtush“), my favorite title is Rabbanit. Coming full circle to the same title I was called when I was 5-6 years old at the synagogue where my father was a lay-leader (“ach, die kleine rebetzen)… |
| במשך שנים רבות בקליפורניה לימדתי נושאים יהודים-ארץ-ישראלים בהרחבה בכל מקום בו יכולתי, מטקסטים תורניים ומפרשים מסורתיים ועד ריקודי-עם. הייתי מחנכת ומנהיגה קהילתית בקהילה היהודית של צפון קליפורניה, בין השאר בתפקיד רבנית קהילה, מנכ”לית פדרציה (הישראלית היחידה בתפקיד, אשה ועוד דוסית… 🙂 ועוד. בקיץ 2016, נסעתי מחוף לחוף (!) כדי להגיע ללימודים בניו-יורק, כשבתפקיד האחרון שלי בארה”ב, הייתי “ראש קהילה” בבית הכנסת “פרוספקט הייטס” בברוקלין ניו יורק. | For many years ‘in CA, I taught Jewish- Israeli “things” wherever I could, from traditional texts to Israeli dancing… I became an educator and community leader in the Jewish community of Nor-Cal. Among other things, I served as an interim-rabbi, Jewish federation executive director (the only Israel in this role, at least at that time, and a woman and a “dosit” = religious…) and more. In summer 2016, I drove cross-country (!) to get to my studies in NY. My last role in the US side of the ocean was as Rosh Kehila of the Prospect Heights Shul in Brooklyn, NY. |
| כיום אני ממשיכה ללמד יהדות במסגרות שונות, תורה ותלמוד בארץ ובחו”ל וגם לטייל (אשמח להמליץ על מקומות נפלאים בארה״ב!). כמו שאתם רואים כאן, אני כותבת כרונית: הספר הראשון שלי, “החוג”, יצא בהוצאת סטימצקי ב-2016. הספר השני, ״קרוב לכל קוראיו״ – אסופה מהפוסטים כאן, מתבשל בימים אלו (קיץ 2026) ובעתיד, מי יודע… מוזמנים להרשם ולהשאר בקשר! להתראות | Currently, I continue to teach Torah and Talmud, travel in the Israel & abroad (happy to recommend beautiful sites, especially in the US). As you can see here, writing is a bit of an addiction: my first novel, Hachug (“Extracurricular”) was published in Israel by Steimatzky in 2016. My 2nd book, a collection of the weekly writings here, is currently cooking (summer 2026) and in the future, who knows… You’re welcome to sign up and stay in touch. Lehitraot! |
